Alright, don't get me wrong, Ceo is not the Chief Executive Officer, it's one of the bloodcurdling hell in Mabinogi, especially to those who don't handle a clever, expedient way of controlling battle skills. How to make a living and get survival in Ceo Island? Well I hope this guide could help.First of all, get familiar with the terrain
Ceo Island is a remote islet southwest of Emain Macha, in there golems dominate everything. Don't you know what is the golem? Check the information in Mabinogi Vault. There are lots of good stuff in Ceo, such as rare herbs, pure color sheilds and armors.
I still remember the days when I stayed in Ceo and hunt the golems, Obviously it was very hard to Kill ten without a death. But after hunting more and more, there was a simple way that I figured out to keep myself alive for a long time. OK, cut it to short
Preparation
Primary Weapon: Mace and one-hand axe are recommended, besides a sheild is necessary. (don't ask me why not two handed weapons or two-handed sword, you will be clear in the following explaination.)
Secondary Weapon: Bow of course.( dont forget to buy some arrows)
Armor: To face the golem's awful damage, the better way to keep your character alive for a long time is to get more Def. if possible, so do not wear clothes(wait, where you go? get back dude, you naked! -_-!), just wear loricae or jupon.
Potions: Find the single goblin guard npc named Muro who secures the entrance to the island. He sells health potions and stamina potions, if you are rich, get as much as possible.Skills level requiredIf you dont get the skills reach the least requirements I list below, I suggest not hunt golems.
Melee Combat Mastery ---------- Rank 9
Windmill ------------- Rank A
Defense ------------- Rank B
CounterAttack ------------- Rank C
Fire bolt ------------- Rank F
Golem hunting
Fire-Counter tactics
Step1: Cast fire bolt to hit a golem, then press CounterAttack quickly
Step2: if the golem dont chase after you, just stay where you are and keep the counterattack using
Step3: if the golem runs and attack you, it will be counterattacked, as soon as the golem being ejected, press fire bolt skill again and hit it, repeat step1.
Prons
Fire-Counter tatics can keep you safe, the golem can't even touch you if you have a good controlling.
Crons
Counterattack costs too much stamina, if the golem stays you have to stay, your stamina will be used up quickly and you dont have spare time to use potions.
2+Windmill tactics
This tactics requires your ability of holding pressure, lol. yep it's more challenging but dangerous, If you dont have the faith to face the golem's frontal attack, or you feel scared when the big heavy stone runs to you with the nightmarish sound, just ignore this part, and choose the first tactics as the way to hunt.
Definition: What's the meaning of 2+Windmill
It means unofficially the 2 combos hit and Windmill(windmill is a helpful melee skill)
Step1: Lock one golem, rush to it and hit, the golem will freeze 1 second as you hit it, then hit again! The golem will again freeze. As soon as the golem freeze again, press the skill Windmill quickly to throw the golem away from you!!!(it's very important)
Step2: As soon as you windmill it, press the skill Defense, now you keep the defense until the golem runs to hit you
Step3: if the golem stay and dont run to you, you just stay calm and dont cancel your defense skill
Step4: if the golem runs to you and attack you, it will freeze again because you defend its damage. NOW repeat step1.
Prons
With advanced skills, you can kill golems in a fast speed, when you use defense, you can watch the golem's status and change the skill quickly in advance.
Crons
You have to bear the golem's attack directly, if it hit you critically, you will be almost dead. So it's dangerous Thanks for reading.....Hope it helps. lol and, sorry for my laziness
