From time to time, field mabinogi bosses appear in the game at certain outdoor locations. The most common field bosses are:

If you are lucky, you may come across an item dropped by a mob called Field Boss Info Scroll. When you use this scroll, you will see an announcement telling everyone near the spawn area exactly when, where and what boss will respawn soon. This scroll is NOT a field boss summoning scroll like the dead branches in RO. Regardless you use it or not, the field boss will still appear. It is up to you to share the information.
Take note that the Field Boss Info Scroll can expire like your enchant scrolls. Once the field boss has spawned, the Field Boss Info Scroll is useless.
When you are very close to a Field Boss which has just respawned, you will see an announcement like this:
It says, "Giant Ogre has arrived around north of spawn location!!"
If you kill and finish a Field Boss, your name will be announced like this:
It says, "The player called Lachesis has killed the Giant Black Wolf!"
Tip: The punctuation will give you an idea of what kind of announcement is being broadcast.
